Prayer

Prayer is vitally important to us! It is much more than presenting a wish list to God or calling out in time of need. It’s about relationship – talking, listening and building trust with God.

We have a dedicated prayer room called InSpire, available for members of the Christian Centre 24/7. It’s used throughout the week – to check availability and book a slot go to, InSpire Prayer Room.

Besides multiple expressions of prayer in the life of the Church     and a weekly open meeting on a Monday evening, once a month we organise what we call One20 events – organised prayer for the whole church. These evenings runs for two hours on a Friday from 8-10pm. It offers a great atmosphere and opportunity to spend time in praise and worship and to pray for our church, city and world. 3 times a year we run a 24/7 Prayer Week and call the Church to focus on seeking God together.

The church is also linked in with the ‘Notts Prayer Network’ which provide an opportunity for Christians from across Nottingham to join together to pray into the life of the city and nation.
