Overview

Aspire Mentoring – needs both daytime and evening mentors. Evening mentors would join a once every three week rota down at Rally and help to engage clients. Daytime mentoring requires a long term investment in an individual with regular meetings in the week. The time commitment is flexible depending on your availability and could result in anything from three of four hours a week to one hour a fortnight. CAP – volunteers are needed to support Carol with debt counselling. All training will be provided. Again commitment can vary depending on your availability but all work is required to take place in the day time. To get involved, fill out the form on the CAP page and Carol will get in touch.

Company - Company is a group for parents/carers and their pre-school children. Currently one meets in Beeston on a Monday morning and one in St Ann's on a Thursday morning, both term time only. It is a great place where children can play and learn and parents have the opportunity for adult conversation and to discuss parenting. To get involved, fill out the form on the Company page and Tamzin will get in touch.

Nottingham Nightstop – requires volunteer hosts, drivers and mentors. Hosts are required to provide availability at the beginning of each month but commitment is flexible. You might want to be available one night a month or one night a week! It's up to you! Drivers will similarly be called on as and when needed.! Operation Rudolph – please look out for notices in Church in October/November.

Prison Ministry – requires volunteers to join the team for our monthly visit to Nottingham Prison. This takes place on the last Tuesday of the month at 5.30pm, meeting at Nottingham Prison in Sherwood. There is also a planning meeting on the third Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm at church.. From time to time we also visit Whatton Prison on a Sunday evening. To get involved fill in the form on the Prison Ministry page and Luke will get in touch.

Rally - requires volunteers to help prepare and serve food. This is a once every three week commitment on either a Tuesday or Wednesday night.  If you would like to get involved please fill out the form on the Rally page and the Project Manager of Rally, Nicole will get in contact.

Reach - Reach is a pastoral schools project that exists to provide independent advice and support to school children in need of a listening ear. Our REACH worker engages in one to one sessions as well as delivering workshops, assemblies and after school clubs. If you would like to get involved with Reach, fill out the form on the Reach page, and Nicola will get in touch.

Renew – volunteers for Renew are needed to help support others who might need assistance with decorating, gardening or other practical needs. There is no set rota but rather, depending on your area of skills and passion, you will be called upon as and when requests come into Renew. Your commitment is therefore flexible.
