Company
Company is a group for parents/carers and their pre-school children. Currently one meets in Beeston on a Monday morning and one in St Ann's on a Thursday morning, both term time only. It is a great place where children can play and learn and parents have the opportunity for adult conversation and to discuss parenting. We need volunteers for Company which would be a once a week commitment on a Monday or Thursday morning. We also run a family mentoring scheme whereby you can receive training and work alongside a family in need of some input; be it advice on nutrition or how to access their GP. Company Volunteer Essential Info
Where: Thursday Volunteer:Bluebell Hill Primary School, Gordon Road, St Ann's.
Monday Volunteer: Beeston Youth and Community Centre, West End, Beeston.
Family Mentor: Wherever suits you and your mentee; a coffee shop, their home, your home, wherever!
When: Company Volunteer: Weekly during term time on a Monday or Thursday morning from 9am-12pm.
Family Mentor: Flexible depending on availability.
Time Commitment: Company Volunteer: Once a week.
Family Mentor: Flexible; roughly twice a month or so, but may be more or less depending on the needs of the family.
Will I need a CRB? Yes
What's the process? Meet with Tamzin, fill out a CRB and complete the induction process.
