Aspire Mentoring is a project providing mentoring support to those dealing with substance misuse issues. It aims to help people access the holistic support they need including rehabilitation, healthcare and housing. Aspire Mentoring is an interchurch partnership administered by 58i.

Aspire Volunteering Essential Info


Where: Evening at St Peter's Hall, Hartley Rd. Daytime mentoring varies - anywhere from a coffee shop to a swimming pool!

When: Evening mentors need to arrive at 5:30pm. A typical evening finishes at 9:30pm. Daytime is flexible to suit your diary.

Time Commitment: Evening: once every three weeks on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Daytime varies from one hour a fortnight to four hours a week.

Will I need a CRB? Yes

What is the process?
1. Sign up form, references and CRB need to be completed.
2. Evening mentors assigned to a team and daytime volunteers to be assigned a client.
3. Get mentoring.
