Cathedral Project

Our vision is to fill the City with the love of Christ. As part of this, we believe God has called us to establish a strong city centre presence in the form of a Cathedral on Talbot Street. Working with leading architects, we have already received planning permission and the congregation have sacrificially given.

Underground car-parking, together with a spacious auditorium, break-out space and children’s facilities are all part of the design. The cross will stand over the entrance as a statement to the City and ensuring that all who enter do so via the cross.

The Cathedral is still in our hearts, the money to build is yet to be in our account. In the meantime, we continue to focus on the injunction that if we ‘go and make disciples’, then the Lord ‘will build the house’ at the time of His choosing.
